Front Office Administrator

Purpose: This position will perform tasks that will help all teams and departments within the organization run smoothly and efficiently. The person in this position can excel at identifying and addressing potential needs, tasks, and issues in support of the organization. The person in this position will represent SAC in carrying out our mission because they are usually the first line of contact and communication with our clients, potential clients, donors, volunteers, vendors, and community members. This position is an extremely important role in welcoming our clients and ensuring that they feel comfortable and safe. It is of the utmost importance that the Front Office Administrator is trauma-informed and able to provide compassionate care to all those we serve.

Development Administrator

Purpose: The Development Administrator is a part time position (26 hours/week) that supports the Sexual Assault Center’s Development team. The Development Administrator is responsible for administrative operations including grant calendar maintenance, donation administration, and marketing and communications support. This position will also provide front desk coverage for the agency on Fridays from 8:15 am to 2:15 pm.

Internship Opportunities

Clinical Intern

The Sexual Assault Center (SAC) Clinical Department offers internships for 2nd-year students in a graduate-level counseling, psychology, social work, or MFT program with coursework designed to meet educational requirements for becoming an LPC, Licensed psychologist, LCSW, or LMFT.  

Interns placements are for the academic year with a minimum of an 8-month consecutive commitment starting in the Fall semester (August start date) ending the end of the Spring semester (April or May). Students may also start in their Summer semester (May) and must continue through the entire academic year, ending their internship at the end of the Spring semester (April or May). Applications are accepted thru the month of January with interviews in the following months.

Development Intern

Sexual Assault Center (SAC) is seeking a part-time intern to support the Development team. Interns will have opportunities to learn how to develop fundraising and revenue generation plans to support the organizational mission. Building relationships with donors, volunteers, helping with grants, and engaging in events are just a few examples of some of the activitites they'll participate in. 

SAC serves those who have been affected by sexual violence through advocacy and therapy. The on-site Safe Clinic is open 24/7 and provides a safe place for victims of recent sexual assault to receive a Medical Legal Exam (rape kit) and other resources they may need.

Safe Tracks Intern

SAC's Safe Tracks Internship supports the Safe Tracks program (a primary prevention bystander intervention program aimed at addressing sexual harassment and assault in the music industry) through administrative duties, event planning, training development and facilitation, and building community partnerships. This internship is geared toward students who are looking for an experiential placement that will emphasize trauma-informed and best practice response to sexual harassment and assault while gaining valuable experience in a non-profit and music industry setting.
