Support Line:

SAC provides a 24-hour Crisis and Support Line for victims and survivors of sexual assault and their friends and family members. Certified crisis line volunteers and staff are ready to listen, offer referrals, and give information about services available to you. Crisis Line volunteers go through a 25-hour training and receive back-up support from an on-call SAC therapist. Our trained volunteers are able to provide crisis counseling and support 24-hours a day. Please call 1-800-879-1999 if you or someone you know has been sexually assaulted.

Hospital Accompaniment is available for those seeking Medical Legal Exams, or rape kits. In the Nashville area, Medial Legal Exams are conducted at Metro General Hospital. Once at the hospital, let the nurse know that you are interested in receiving Hospital Accompaniment, and the nurse will call an on-call volunteer to be with you during this process.
