SAC

Step by step, We Can End Sexual Violence.

Lace up your sneakers and join nearly 1,000 Nashvillians on April 17th at the Sexual Assault Center for the ninth annual Walk in Their Shoes. For the first time ever, SAC, in partnership with the Nashville Striders, will start the morning with a 5K run, followed by a one-mile celebration walk. SAC started Walk in Their Shoes as a way to honor survivors and to help build awareness of the prevalence of sexual assault.

The good news is that you can help by participating in an exciting, fun-filled community event with:

        • Music
  • Free refreshments
  • Give-aways
  • T-shirts for the first 500 registered
  • Community booths
  • Activities for children
  • A compelling presentation
  • And more!

We know that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 5 boys will experience sexual abuse by the time they turn 18. Perhaps someone you know and love has been affected. What better way to show your support than by taking a Walk in Their Shoes. *This is a rain or shine event.

Truly, through your participation, you can help us build awareness and end sexual violence!
